:o Slow?!...I,ve seen '73 Pinto's with three bad cylinders see more action! ;) You can blame Indiana weather for almost anything and it'll stick! However, there was some action at the Musclecar and Corvette  Show in Rosemont(Chicago) this weekend! :D Tyler& I cruised up on Sunday.Great day for a drive,it was sunny and 65 in Chi-town.I could talk for hours describing how nice this event was , but I'll be brief. The general premise of this show is to attract some of the best original, and some modified factory muscle cars in the country to exhibit their cars,in a great venue.By any measure this show did not disappoint! :D It was great to see Rick and Peg Campell with their phenominal Boss 302,and Jim Cunningham was there also displaying a Shelby. The show was made up of over 300 amazing cars.In a nutshell, almost every factory musclecar that I drooled over as a teen, saw in the mags., but knew that I'd certainly never be able to own,let alone get a glimpse of in the flesh,er...metal,was there for inspection! :twisted:These were some of the nicest cars that I've EVER! :o seen! :D Short list:Shelby's 67 GT350-71GT500's,AC Cobra's(at least 3 all black orig.OMG sooo gorgeous!),2 AC Cheetah's,every type of Yenko Chevrolet,Corvettes,Chevelles,Camaros,Callaway Corvettes,Mopar mania including the classic Hemi-Under-Glass car courtesy of Mr.Norm's Chrysler. Both Mr.Norm's and Nicky's Chevrolet produced some great specialty high performance dealer enchanced cars in the 60's & 70's,and it was cool to see that they're back building cool dealer conversions on the new versions (Hemi Cuda's and Challenger's,both in drop-top editions,Nicky's 427 Camaro SS's).I hope that some Ford dealer's take up their challenge. There's no such thing as a bad musclecar...unless it's baaad! This is another annual show that I won't miss!I hope that next year more people will take the opportunity to attend this show! 8-) You won't regret it!! 8-)

I wish I'd known because I'd probably have gone up there. Always looking for a reason to drive to Chicago & have pizza at Giordano's on Rush St!

My fav chicago spot in Chicago is Lawry's Prime Rib House- the godddddddds. I need a good excuse to go up there but doubtful I'll take the mustang unless I can keep an eye on it. I am looking for a nice low milage fox body in the spring-maybe a Saleen- maybe a late model Saleen- But still want a nice nonbeatdown FOX. I want a good deal for $$$$. Thanks

:D :D :D :D I didn't even tell you where we ate,but if you mention Chi-Town you think of great food!We ate at a place called Super Dawgs.I'm a hot dog snob(being from Chicago) and this place had been raved about on the Food Network,Zagat's Guide,on-line,and a 100 other spots,it was only 5 miles from the show.Their Superdawgs with everything, fries, and tamales(yes tamales) wre fast food perfection!!! :D I told Ty,if we had one of these in Indy,I'd eat there 3 times a weekl;Ty said he'd eat there every day! They've been at the same location for 48 years!Once you eat there, you'll know why! ;) P.S.,I've eaten at the pizza place on Rush, and it is really good! :P. I've had steak all over Chicago, some bad(Weber Grill),some great like Morton's!I'll have to try Lowry's some time! :)

I've been to Weber Grill a couple times and have always enjoyed it! Maybe it was better because the company was paying!!
